Here's what it's all about: Because we can only have a certain number of speakers, TEDxYouth@TampaBay would like to invite young people 13 and older to submit their own short videos to be screened during the event. To submit your video, upload it to YouTube from your own account and submit it as a Video Reply to this one. Once your video is approved by our TEDxYouth team, it will be screened at our event on November 20th, 2010. DISCLAIMER: by submitting your video, you are acknowledging that you have permission to use the images and clips in your submission, AND you are giving us (TEDxYouth@TampaBay) permission to use your video at our event. WHAT IS TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED (www.TED.com) has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is an independent, self-organized event that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call ed TEDxYouth@TampaBay, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouth@TampaBay event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
